ABC (Amazing Busan City) was formed by Tourism and Convention department students at 2015, to make a change to the Busan tourism industry. Because tourism is the study that cannot be appeared from actual phenomenon so there are some experiences that only available when we leave the desk and head to real world. During the semester, we actually visit and diagnose trending Busan tourist spots to see if there is a room for the improvement and to get ideas that hard to obtain through in-class lectures.
We organize more bigger activities, which is hard to do during the semester, in summer and winter vacation. We visit places that are successful example of tourism in other cities inside Korea to see if there is something we can learn from it. Also we’ve made partnership with international non-governmental, not-for-profit organization AIESEC’s Pusan National University branch to hold programs together. We provide one of highest quality Busan tour guide to AIESEC foreign exchange participants and learn about other country’s culture. Our ultimate goal of this program is to teach foreign travelers Korean culture and improve there image about Busan tourism.
